UiPath Data Fabric review
A UiPath-centered data fabric for governed entities, lineage, and automation context.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
UiPath Data Fabric connects enterprise systems, models reusable business entities and relationships, and provides governed context to AI agents, robots, workflows, and applications. It supports zero-copy access to live external data through federated entities, alongside persistent native entities for application and case state. The product is aimed at UiPath automation teams that need shared business context, governed data access, and lineage across automation assets.
The pricing structure starts with free Community access, which includes one Data Fabric unit, 100 MB of data storage, 500 MB of attachment storage, and 1,000 API calls per day. The published Basic plan is $25 per month and adds basic personal automations, limited users and robots, European-region hosting, 99.9% service uptime, and UiPath Bronze Support. Standard adds enterprise automations and agents, enhanced governance controls, bring-your-own identity provider support, no limits to scale, and cloud or self-hosted deployment. Enterprise adds enterprise security and governance, self-healing UI automation, bring-your-own models for available AI products, customer-managed encryption keys, and customer-managed credential vaults.
Its strongest fit is the UiPath ecosystem: integrations include UiPath Integration Service, Studio, Robots, Apps, Maestro, and API Workflows, with API access for connected workflows. Visual and coding-agent-enabled entity modeling, connected business entities, role-based access control, folder-aligned governance, compliance policies, and lineage visibility extend across agents, apps, workflows, and APIs. UiPath teams should consider it when governed entities are central to their automation architecture. Teams seeking a broader data-fabric focus beyond UiPath entities and workflows may prefer a different category fit.
