UCloud UHub is a free public image repository service for creating and managing container image repositories. It is designed for UCloud projects that need core Docker workflows, including login, image pushing, image pulling, and repository administration. Private repositories support account and sub-account permissions, while public repositories can be shared externally. Teams operating across covered UCloud regions can also access images through internal networks rather than relying only on public-network access.

The service keeps its scope focused on basic registry operations. Users can toggle public-network access for image push and pull, and the platform documents quotas of up to eight image repositories per project and up to 800 tags per image. UHub also describes image cleanup behavior, which is relevant when tags accumulate over time. Images have no stated size limit, although pushing a single-layer image larger than 5G may fail. Docker is the documented integration, and the service is available through the web.

UHub is a practical choice for UCloud users who want a free registry for standard Docker images, straightforward permissions, public sharing, and multi-region internal access. It is less suitable for teams that require image scanning, OCI artifacts, immutable tags, retention policies, or broader registry controls. Projects with larger repository footprints should also account for the repository and tag limits, as well as the documented single-layer push constraint. Choose UHub when the priority is basic image storage within the UCloud ecosystem; choose another registry when governance, artifact breadth, or automated image security is central.
