Our verdict on U-Gen

U-Gen creates UGC-style video advertisements for ecommerce brands, agencies, and in-house marketing teams. A product URL from Shopify, Amazon, or another public product page can provide source material, while users can also supply an image. The workflow combines AI-generated or editable scripts, selectable AI personas, product interactions, synthesized narration, captions, music, and quality checks. With support for web and API access, U-Gen is aimed at teams producing product-led creative for multiple markets and social channels.

Pricing follows a freemium model with a free plan. The Creator plan costs $29 per month when billed monthly and adds no watermark, custom voice cloning, custom music upload, and social auto-posting. Business costs $99 per month on monthly billing and adds a priority queue, 4K output, API access and webhooks, and a custom brand kit.
