Typo is a software engineering intelligence platform for development teams and engineering leaders. It brings together data from version control, issue tracking, CI/CD, communication, and observability tools, then presents DORA metrics, delivery analytics, team insights, sprint tracking, goals, investment allocation, developer-experience measurement, and AI-impact analysis. It is suited to small, mid-market, and enterprise organizations that want one view of engineering delivery, quality, and team health.

Pricing is organized into three plans. Starter costs $20 per user per month with annual billing and includes Delivery Insights, AI Code Impact, Team Performance, Automated Goals, Investment Distribution, and Software Capitalisation. Pro costs $28 per user per month with annual billing and adds Code Health Analysis, Automated PR Reviews, AI PR Summary, AI Code Fixes, and Code Coverage. Enterprise includes everything in Pro, plus on-prem support, multiple Git organization support, and custom integrations. A 14-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan.

The integration range supports GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure Repos, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Jira, Linear, ClickUp, Shortcut, GitHub Issues, GitHub Projects, Jenkins, and CircleCI. Typo also covers custom metrics, executive reports, alerts, benchmarks, surveys, heatmaps, burnout prediction, and resource-allocation analysis. Its cloud deployment, web-only access, and paid-only model may not suit teams seeking a free tier, broader deployment flexibility, or a lightweight analytics tool. Teams that need AI-aware engineering analytics across delivery, quality, and developer experience should consider it; teams with narrower reporting needs may prefer a simpler option.
