Tuple review
A polished remote pairing app for teams prioritizing communication over shared code editing.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
Tuple is a desktop collaboration app for remote pair programming. It combines screen sharing, remote keyboard and mouse control, audio and video communication, annotations, reactions, and privacy controls in one pairing experience. Engineering teams and individual developers can use it for remote sessions, including sessions with external collaborators. Browser access is available for invited participants, while the main app supports macOS and Windows, with Linux in alpha.
Pricing is straightforward for the Engineering teams plan at $30 per user per month, billed monthly. It includes unlimited pairing sessions, free pairing with external collaborators, and single sign-on. Enterprises receive everything in the teams plan, plus custom contracts, payment by invoice or purchase order, and reduced per-user pricing at scale. A 14-day trial is available. Annual plans have a 30-day refund window, while monthly plans are eligible for a refund of the most recent monthly payment.
Tuple’s standout strength is the depth of its communication and session controls. Partial-screen and display selection, App Veil for hiding sensitive apps and notifications, customizable keyboard shortcuts, programmable call-event triggers, local call capture, and on-device transcription give teams more control over how sessions run. Slack, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Spotlight, and Custom Lifecycle Hooks extend its workflow fit. Choose Tuple if polished screen sharing and guided remote pairing matter most. Teams seeking a shared code-editor collaboration product, a free plan, or fully mature Linux support should consider a different fit.
