Our verdict on TryMyPost YouTube Thumbnail Generator
TryMyPost YouTube Thumbnail Generator creates original 16:9 YouTube thumbnails from text prompts. It is aimed at YouTubers, creators, brands, agencies, editors, educators, and podcasters that need downloadable thumbnail imagery. Prompts can describe a video's subject, hook, style, colors, and mood, while the generator produces 1280×720 images with prominent text and a clear focal subject. It also creates related vertical 9:16 Shorts covers and supports Brand DNA profiles for visual consistency.
The plans make the product accessible for occasional and recurring thumbnail work. Free includes 20 AI credits per month, simulator and Content Manager access, all creation tools, two active share links, and up to four saved items. Starter costs $5.99 per month and adds 800 AI credits, watermark-free exports, full Content Manager access, premium pages, and export and share links. Pro costs $11.99 per month for 2,000 credits, while Business costs $23.99 per month for 5,000 credits. A $3.99 Export pack provides five watermark-free HD exports that never expire, and the $4.99 Monthly pass provides unlimited watermark-free HD exports, reusable presets, and three-day share links.
Its strongest fit is a creator who wants thumbnail generation, readable on-image text, visual direction, and downloadable outputs in one web tool. The narrow focus is also the main boundary: this is not a platform-specific post generator, and the product does not include short-form video generation. TryMyPost also presents simulation, content management, calendar planning, analytics, and image editing features, but the submitted product is centered on thumbnail imagery. Choose it for branded YouTube thumbnails and Shorts covers; choose an alternative if broader social publishing or multi-platform post creation is the priority.
