TruStar Connect review
A full-platform safety suite for Canadian teams managing field operations and compliance.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
TruStar Connect is a safety management and field operations platform for Canadian contractors, industrial companies, manufacturers, transportation operators, and other high-risk workplaces. It brings incident investigations, inspections, hazard controls, corrective actions, training records, permits, controlled documents, daily reports, equipment tracking, and COR/SECOR readiness into one system. Offline field capture supports work without connectivity, with automatic synchronization when a connection returns. Role-based access is also included.
Pricing is organized by worker bands rather than per-user billing. Starter costs CAD 175 per month and is aimed at small crews getting COR ready. Growth costs CAD 475 per month for growing teams working across sites, while Pro costs CAD 1,099 per month for established multi-crew operations. Each published paid tier includes the full platform. Enterprise also includes the full platform and uses tailored pricing for large operations. Annual prices are shown as monthly equivalents billed yearly, and the product offers a 14-day free trial. Teams wanting a free plan or a lower starting commitment should look elsewhere.
The integration coverage fits organizations that need safety records to connect with people and fleet systems. Supported HR platforms include BambooHR, Dayforce, UKG Pro, UKG Ready, Humi, Avanti, Employment Hero, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, and Workday; telematics integrations include Samsara and Geotab. The feature set also reaches beyond basic incident logging, with linked hazard controls, corrective-action verification and effectiveness reviews, permit sign-offs with QR monitoring, training expiry tracking, and COR/SECOR readiness scoring. Data is hosted in Canada, and role-based access supports controlled use across teams. TruStar Connect suits Canadian operations seeking broad safety coverage and connected field workflows; smaller teams with simpler needs may prefer a narrower, lower-cost tool.
