TruGrid review
A security-focused remote desktop service for unattended access and controlled environments.

TruGrid SecureRDP provides cloud-brokered remote access to Windows desktops, applications, and RDS environments without requiring VPNs or externally exposed firewalls. It is aimed at individual users, business teams, enterprises, and managed service providers that need unattended access with centralized controls. Access is available through web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android connectors, with support for mobile remote desktop connections.
Pricing is organized around access needs. Basic costs $12 per user per month with secure remote access, built-in MFA, zero-trust access, file transfer, and Windows, Mac, and mobile apps. Business costs $15 per user per month when billed monthly, or $13.50 per user per month when billed annually, adding agentless brokering, user activity reporting, Active Directory federation, a fleet dashboard, session monitoring, and a full audit log. Enterprise adds VDI automation, VM pools, image rollback, a snapshot and image library, logon performance analysis, and a dedicated account manager. MSP & Resellers adds multi-tenant and multi-client management, a co-branded experience, and volume pricing. A free trial is available with the Business plan and does not require a credit card.
The product’s main distinction is its layered access and oversight model. MFA, zero-trust controls, encryption, audit logs, session monitoring, and session shadowing support environments where remote access needs closer governance. File transfer and multi-monitor support cover common desktop administration tasks, while Active Directory federation connects the Business plan to directory-based identity management. Teams that need VDI pool automation or image management should consider Enterprise; organizations primarily seeking simple occasional remote support may find the tier structure more than they need. TruGrid is best suited to controlled, unattended access across managed Windows environments, with platform coverage extending to browser and mobile connectors.
