TreeSize is Windows disk-space analysis software for individuals, power users, consultants, and IT administrators. It scans local and network storage, then presents folder and file sizes through directory, chart, pie, bar, and treemap views. File-type statistics, largest-file filtering, duplicate-file search, and file operations such as copy, move, delete, archive, and bulk rename help users investigate and manage storage. TreeSize Free is available at no cost for private, non-commercial use and includes treemap charts, PDF reports, and file-level folder analysis.
The paid editions add capabilities in clear steps. TreeSize Personal costs $25.20 per user per year and adds duplicate-file search, disk-space comparison over time, and largest-file filtering. TreeSize Professional costs $49.20 per user per year and adds command-line parameters, task scheduler options, and PDF, Excel, and HTML exports. The TreeSize Consultant License costs $288 per user per year and adds portable use, support for multiple clients, and reusable reporting and automation. A 14-day free trial is also available. Users who need recurring scans, command-line control, or broader reporting should consider the paid tiers; users with occasional private cleanup needs may find Free sufficient.
TreeSize has a wide storage and workflow scope for a Windows utility. It can search across drives, servers, and networks, compare scan results over time, schedule scans and exports, and export to PDF, Excel, HTML, CSV, text, and other formats. Integrations include SharePoint, Amazon S3, WebDAV, VHDX drive images, Outlook mailboxes, Azure Blob Storage, Linux via SSH, MTP, and Windows Task Scheduler. Portable installation on USB devices is supported, with portable use specifically included in the Consultant License. TreeSize suits administrators and power users who need detailed storage analysis and repeatable reporting. It is less suitable for users seeking a non-Windows tool or a simple, cross-platform disk viewer.
