A broad web-based trade workflow with useful portals and automation, but no free plan or mobile app.

Trade2Base is cloud software for UK trade businesses such as plumbers, electricians, builders, roofers and HVAC contractors. It brings customer and job management together with estimates, invoices, overdue-balance tracking, Stripe payment links and a browser-based customer portal. The portal covers job tracking, quote approval and invoice payment, while recurring service agreements can schedule visits and invoices. Its audience ranges from sole traders to growing businesses, established teams and multi-site operations.
Pricing is tiered across Starter, Professional, Growth and Team. Starter costs £29 per month or £290 per year and includes quotes and invoices, a customer portal and either AI quote drafting or an AI assistant, depending on billing presentation. Professional costs £59 per month or £590 per year, adding features such as unlimited jobs, Stripe payments, SMS job reminders, campaigns, integrations and advanced reports. Growth costs £99 per month or £990 per year, with advanced reports and exports, custom portal branding, team scheduling and priority support. Team costs £179 per month or £1,790 per year, adding unlimited team seats, multi-site separation, onboarding or account management, API access and custom integrations. Prices exclude VAT, and a 7-day trial is available.
The product’s strongest fit is for businesses that want invoicing connected to lead tracking, customer communications and repeat-service administration. Integrations include Trade2Base CRM, OpenAI, Stripe, website forms, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Email broadcast, Campaign analytics and Mailhaus. Automated follow-ups, review requests, reminders, document storage, certificates and CSV import and export broaden the workflow beyond basic billing. However, access is limited to the web, and the customer portal is browser-based. Businesses needing a native mobile app, a free ongoing plan or a simpler invoicing-only tool should look elsewhere; growing trade businesses that value portals, automation and reporting are the clearer match.
