Tonic Fabricate generates synthetic relational databases, structured datasets, unstructured files, and mock APIs from natural-language prompts, schemas, SQL DDL, or sample data. It is aimed at software developers, QA teams, data engineers, and AI teams working on product development, testing, sales demos, reinforcement-learning environments, and model training. The product supports web and API access, with deployment through Tonic Cloud and an Enterprise self-hosted option.

Its strongest capability is breadth with relational awareness. Fabricate can generate consistent data across systems, connect to live databases, create mock APIs from API specifications, and export to databases, files, and formats including CSV, JSON, XML, SQL, PDF, DOCX, EML, Apache Avro, Apache Iceberg, and Apache Parquet. Database connectivity includes PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Snowflake, Databricks, and SQLite. Automated workflows can be called through an API, while the Validation Agent checks generated results and Fabricate MCP supports MCP-compatible clients.

The pricing structure gives smaller teams a way to start with a Free plan deployed through Tonic Cloud, basic exports, and Discord support. Plus costs $29 per month and adds more monthly credits, pay-as-you-go usage, and email support alongside Discord. Enterprise adds custom and pooled usage, centralized billing, expanded exports, multiple workspaces with RBAC, SSO, and either Tonic Cloud or self-hosted deployment. Fabricate suits teams that need synthetic data across relational and unstructured systems, especially when API workflows or validation matter. Teams seeking only simple standalone fixtures may find its cross-system feature set more than they need.
