Our verdict on Together
Together is a mobile shopping-list app for couples, families, roommates, and other households. It supports shared lists, collaborator invitations, custom categories, quantities, notes, optional reminders, and smart autocomplete based on past lists. The app works on iPhone and Android, supports guest use and account-based sharing, and can keep working offline before synchronizing changes when online. Its recurring lists refresh weekly, biweekly, or monthly, making it suited to households with repeat shopping routines.
The pricing structure is straightforward. The Free plan costs $0 forever and includes real-time sync across iPhone and Android plus smart autocomplete; the product description specifies up to three lists and one collaborator. Premium Monthly costs $1.99 per month, while Premium Yearly costs $11.99 per year and Premium Forever costs $24.99 as a one-time purchase. Each paid option adds unlimited lists, unlimited collaborators, priority email support, and all future Premium features. Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and prices may vary by country or include applicable taxes.
Together’s platform fit is narrow but clear: it is designed for iPhone and Android households, with Apple sign-in, Google sign-in, and email sign-in. Offline support and automatic synchronization help when connectivity is inconsistent, while autocomplete and recurring schedules reduce repeated list entry. The tradeoff is a focused shopping-list scope: it does not include verified recipes or scanning, and it is not positioned for broader platforms. Choose Together if shared mobile lists, recurring items, and a low-cost upgrade match your household’s routine. Choose an alternative if recipe management, scanning, or wider platform coverage matters more.
