Our verdict on Tody
Tody is a mobile cleaning-schedule app for individuals, families, partners, and roommates. It organizes tasks by room, tracks how due each chore is, and creates a prioritized cleaning list. Users can assign chores, rotate them automatically, mark work complete, receive reminders, and view contribution records. Its focus is practical household coordination rather than general task management, making it a good fit for people who want a shared cleaning routine on iOS or Android.
The pricing structure gives households several ways to start. The Free plan costs $0 forever and includes an automatically created cleaning plan, dueness tracking, chore assignment or automatic rotation, and no ads. Premium is listed at $0.83 per month with annual billing or $9.99 per year, adding multiple homes and a Focus Timer. A 30-day free trial is available. Premium+ Duo costs $2.08 per month or $25 per year with annual billing; Family costs $3.33 per month or $40 per year; and Team is shown at $6.67 per month with annual billing. These Premium+ plans add household plan synchronization, FairShare contribution targets, and household reports.
For shared homes, Tody’s strongest feature set is its combination of assignment, rotation, completion tracking, and fairness reporting. FairShare contribution targets and monthly or yearly household reports can make workload discussions more visible, while reminders and the Dusty monthly cleaning challenge support ongoing participation. The trade-off is platform scope: Tody is a mobile app with iOS and Android support and no web version. Choose it if your household wants a low-cost cleaning plan with explicit responsibility tracking. Choose an alternative if browser access or a broader, non-cleaning task system matters more than chore-focused scheduling.
