TimeLeaf review
A capable leave-management platform, but not a fit for on-call operations.

TimeLeaf is a cloud workforce-management platform for teams managing leave, PTO, time tracking, shifts and payroll processes. It supports employee leave requests, manager approval queues, balance self-service, team calendars and configurable accrual schedules. Employees can submit requests through the web, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat or SMS-supported workflows. The product fits mixed desk-and-shift teams that need structured leave administration, but it is not designed for on-call scheduling or incident operations.
Pricing is organized across four plans. Starter costs $45 per month for 10 included employees and adds leave requests, approvals, a team calendar, email notifications and payroll CSV export. Professional costs $81 per month and adds time tracking, timesheets, shift scheduling, Slack, Teams and Google Chat connections, plus QuickBooks and Xero integration. Business costs $108 per month and adds custom approval workflows, employment-based accruals, custom reports and exports, and 24/7 phone support. Enterprise uses custom pricing and includes custom integrations, a dedicated customer success manager and a custom SLA. A 7-day free trial is available.
TimeLeaf’s strongest fit is leave administration across workplace and payroll systems. Its calendars synchronize with Outlook, Google Calendar and iCal, while REST API access and outbound webhooks support custom connections. Approval workflows can be single-level, multi-level or automatic, and payroll integrations extend beyond CSV export. Teams specifically seeking on-call rotations, escalation paths, incident response or mobile apps should choose a different product category. TimeLeaf is a sensible choice for organizations that need leave, accruals, approvals and related workforce scheduling in one web-based system, but not for operational on-call coverage.
