TianTian Weishi Reboot Restore review
A free Windows restore tool that scales from single PCs to centrally managed fleets.

TianTian Weishi Reboot Restore, also known as 重启还原精灵, protects selected Windows disks by reverting them to a clean state after a restart or other configured trigger. It is aimed at organizations managing computer rooms, schools, stores and office endpoints, as well as individuals who need a free way to reset a system disk after each reboot. Deployment options include self-hosted and cloud environments, with chat and documentation available for support.
The published plans show a freemium structure. The Free edition is a CNY 0 one-time, lifetime-free option with system-disk protection, automatic restore on restart and Windows 7–11 support. The Flagship edition expands coverage to multiple disks or the full disk and adds password protection, scheduled and interval policies, restart controls and manual restore points. The Enterprise management platform is designed for larger fleets, adding centralized policy deployment, remote desktop, batch restart, file distribution, script execution and private-network deployment. Advanced restore scope and centralized administration therefore depend on moving beyond the free edition.
Its strongest fit is a Windows-only environment where reboot-based rollback and policy control matter more than cross-platform coverage. Schools and shared computers can use scheduled or manual restore points, while administrators can distribute files, run scripts and restart groups of machines through the enterprise tier. The product does not provide kiosk mode, and its scope is limited to Windows endpoints. Teams that need macOS or Linux protection, or a dedicated kiosk-control feature, should consider another system restore product; Windows organizations seeking free system-disk rollback and a path to centralized management are the natural audience.

- Where it doesn't
- Windows-only support excludes macOS, Linux and other endpoint platforms.
- Kiosk mode is not provided for locked-down public terminals.
- Multi-disk protection requires the Flagship edition rather than the free tier.
