Our verdict on Thyme
Thyme is a cloud-based platform for real-estate General Partners and syndicators managing investor relationships and property performance. Its web portal brings together CRM tools, fundraising workflows, document storage, capital calls, distributions and portfolio analytics. Investors can access documents, transaction history, distribution schedules and performance metrics through a browser. The feature set is suited to small or mid-market firms that want investor and property workflows in one system; firms seeking a different deployment format should look elsewhere.
The published plans show two monthly options. Standard costs $79 per month and includes CRM, an investor portal, a fundraising portal, self-service onboarding, email support and unlimited investors. Professional is listed at $199+ per month and includes the same three core portals and CRM, with white-glove onboarding, a dedicated account representative and priority support. Thyme offers a 30-day trial without a credit card, but there is no free plan. The flat monthly pricing may fit firms that prefer a recurring subscription to AUM-based fees; compare the onboarding and support differences when deciding whether Professional is worth the higher price.
Thyme’s operational breadth is a central strength: it supports commitment tracking, capital-call creation and funding status, distribution processing with waterfall calculations, investor statements, and secure document rooms with permissions, version control and e-signature workflows. Portfolio tools cover occupancy, NOI, valuations, IRR, MOIC and cash-on-cash returns. The product is web-based and cloud deployed, with email and documentation support and SOC 2 and two-factor security listed. Choose it if those investor and property processes belong together in your workflow. A firm needing 24/7 support or a non-web platform should consider alternatives.
