Thred helps organizations build workplace connections and understand how employees relate across teams. Employees share interests and existing connections, then receive interest-based 1:1 introductions called Stitches. The product also supports personalized interest reports, aggregate interest data, network visualization, and networking for virtual or in-person events. Its use cases include onboarding, employee experience, offsites, mergers and acquisitions, internships, and event planning. It is most relevant to teams running connection programs, rather than buyers seeking a broad HR analytics suite.

Network analysis is the product’s clearest analytical angle. The Standard plan adds a dashboard, persona segmentation, organization-wide interest graphs, AI-generated event suggestions, and bottom-line impact metrics to the Basic plan. These capabilities can help program owners examine connectedness, influence, and network health, while interest data can be viewed across departments and locations. That makes Thred a fit when the question is how to encourage connections or understand organizational networks; it is a narrower choice for teams whose main need is conventional workforce or attrition analytics.

According to the vendor’s pricing page, Basic costs $4 per employee per month and includes Stitches, extra Stitches for new hires, personalized interest reports, and Google Meet or Microsoft Teams support. Standard costs $6 per employee per month and adds the network analysis and event features. Premium costs $10 per employee per month and adds HRIS integrations, automated new-hire Stitches, Slack and Teams integrations, one-time events, and network insights sessions. The product is web-based. Buyers should choose a tier based on whether they need network analysis or the additional integrations and program services; organizations needing broader HR analytics should consider a more comprehensive alternative.
