Threatnote is Morado Intelligence’s unified threat intelligence and management platform for enterprise security teams, MSSPs, and CTI programs at different maturity levels. It brings together Priority Intelligence Requirements, RFI management, report creation and sharing, threat-hunt planning, tracking, and documentation. The platform also covers dark-web monitoring for exposed data and compromised credentials, plus monitoring for brands, domains, app stores, and social media. Web and API access support intelligence collection, analysis, collaboration, and stakeholder workflows.

Its strongest fit is a program that needs to connect intelligence requirements with repeatable analysis and reporting. PIR management gives teams a structured way to define intelligence needs, while RFI workflows support response processes. Threatnote also supports STIX 2.1 normalization and relationship visualization, giving analysts a way to organize and present connected intelligence. Report management, workflow automation, and threat-hunt documentation make it broader than a narrowly focused monitoring tool.

The buying model is sales-led: fees are specified in an order form or quote, and Morado advertises a free enterprise trial. Security teams should consider Threatnote when their workflow spans requirements, RFIs, reports, hunting, monitoring, and stakeholder communication. SIEM and SOAR integrations provide a path into existing security operations. Teams that need a broad, publicly documented integration ecosystem, a self-managed open-source product, or a simple self-service purchase should look for a different fit.

Threatnote pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Manages PIRs, RFIs, reports, and threat-hunt workflows
    • Combines dark-web, brand, domain, app-store, and social monitoring
    • Normalizes STIX 2.1 data and visualizes relationships
  • Where it doesn't
    • Pricing is handled through sales, an order form, or a quote
    • Verified integrations focus on SIEM and SOAR platforms
    • Not open source for teams seeking a self-managed codebase
