Our verdict on Tholos
Tholos is a self-custodial digital-asset treasury platform for crypto teams, funds, DAOs, and institutions. Its MPC vaults distribute key shares among vault members, while configurable approval thresholds and transaction workflows support review, approval, signing, and broadcast. Teams can monitor portfolio balances across vaults, connect to decentralized applications through WalletConnect, and use fiat on- and off-ramps. It may suit smaller teams that want shared custody and policy controls without handing assets to a third-party custodian; teams needing broad network coverage on the entry tier should look elsewhere.
Pricing starts with Team at $300 per month for shared custody for small teams. Organization costs $500 per month and adds asynchronous signing, WalletConnect, and transaction export. Enterprise starts at $1,500 per month and includes a policy engine and dedicated onboarding; Institution starts at $3,000 per month and adds API access and server-side signing, white-glove onboarding, and a policy engine.
