The 1x1 review
A free workspace for recurring one-on-ones, with shared notes and action tracking.

The 1x1 is a cloud workspace for managers, leaders, and HR teams who run recurring one-on-one meetings. It brings collaborative agendas, meeting-specific notes, action items, and past meeting context into one place. Its focus is conversational follow-through: teams can prepare questions, record notes, and track actions between meetings rather than relying on a general-purpose meeting-notes workflow.
The Free plan includes one team, up to 5 collaborators, and unlimited one-on-one meetings, with questions, notes, action items, and history. It requires no credit card. Recurring scheduling and calendar event downloads support Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and Apple Calendar. Predefined or custom questions, collaborator history, and mood and rating tracking give managers ways to carry topics forward and review how conversations develop. Collaborators can access meetings through secure links without logging in.
The product's narrow scope is a strength for teams that want a repeatable one-on-one process, but it is not a fit for teams looking for a broader meeting archive. It does not include recording, transcription, AI, or searchable archives, so teams that need those capabilities should choose another tool. The 1x1 makes most sense for small, mid-market, or enterprise teams organizing recurring manager-collaborator conversations around agendas and follow-up; teams whose main need is capturing or searching recorded meetings should look elsewhere.
