Teracue Application Cloud is a client/server platform for routing and transcoding live SD, HD, and 4K video streams. It is designed for professional IP video workflows, including broadcast contribution, IPTV, OTT, AV-over-IP, surveillance, and control-room operations. The platform combines a digital input/output matrix with protocol conversion, stream previews, web-based administration, user and role management, and distributed processing. It supports web access and Windows-based deployment, along with Teracue hardware appliances.

Its main strength is breadth across live signal handling. Teracue Application Cloud supports UDP, RTP, RTSP, TCP, HLS, HTTP, Pro-MPEG FEC, SRT, MPEG-DASH, and RTMP, plus H.264, H.265, MPEG-4, and MPEG-2 video processing. 4K/UHD support reaches 3840×2160. Operators can duplicate streams, send them in multiple formats or to multiple destinations, and distribute processing across hardware resources. Failover, redundancy, connection monitoring, and load balancing address workflows where continuity and resource allocation matter alongside basic encoding.

The platform is a stronger fit for organizations managing several sources, destinations, protocols, or processing nodes than for teams seeking a simple single-purpose encoder. Its web-based configuration and administration can support centralized operations, while the agent-based architecture is suited to distributed environments. Pricing is handled through a contact-sales model, so buyers should evaluate the required Windows systems, Teracue appliances, processing resources, and workflow scope with the vendor. Choose it when routing, transcoding, matrix control, and operational resilience belong in one system; consider a narrower encoder when those functions are unnecessary.
