Tencent Cloud VectorDB is a fully managed, distributed vector database for storing, indexing, retrieving, and managing machine-learning embeddings. It is aimed at enterprise cloud teams building large-language-model knowledge bases, recommendation systems, natural-language processing, computer vision, and text or image retrieval applications. The service supports vector and metadata filtering, dense and sparse retrieval, hybrid search, automatic text embedding, and multiple distance metrics. It is available through an API, with SDK language support for Python, Java, and Go.

Pricing is structured around monthly high-availability plans. The 344 CNY-per-month High-availability Compute plan includes 1 CPU core, 2 GB memory, 20 GB disk, 2 nodes, and capacity for 50w vectors at 768 dimensions. The 584 CNY High-availability Storage plan provides 1 CPU core, 8 GB memory, 20 GB disk, 2 nodes, and 200w vectors at 768 dimensions. The 872 CNY High-availability Standard plan adds 2 CPU cores while retaining 8 GB memory, 20 GB disk, 2 nodes, and 200w vectors at 768 dimensions. The 1256 CNY High-availability Compute plan provides 4 CPU cores with the same listed storage, node, and vector capacity as the Standard plan. Teams seeking a free starting point, a lower entry price, or access beyond an API should consider a different vector database.
