TenantLedger review
A focused web platform for accurate property accounting, rent collection, and owner reporting.

TenantLedger is web-based property management software for landlords, property managers, HOAs, associations, and commercial property owners. It combines property, unit, lease, charge, payment, and owner-statement tracking with double-entry accounting. Tenants can use a browser-based portal to view balances and payment history, then pay rent by card or ACH through Stripe. The product also supports recurring rent charges, delinquency tracking, rent rolls, security-deposit tracking, maintenance work orders, and a website builder.
The published plan is priced at $20 per month for up to 10 units, with all features included. That package covers tenant online payments, owner portals and statements, and QuickBooks Online synchronization. A 14-day free trial is available, but there is no permanent free plan. Stripe handles card and ACH processing, while QuickBooks Online provides the accounting connection for teams that want property records and financial activity aligned with their existing bookkeeping workflow.
TenantLedger’s strongest fit is a small portfolio where accounting accuracy and reconciliation matter as much as collecting rent. Bank reconciliation, financial reports, a chart of accounts, owner statements, and read-only owner portals give the product a broader operating scope than a payment-only tool. Owner disbursements are recorded manually rather than handled through an in-app payout feature, and access is web-based. Choose TenantLedger for integrated accounting, payment collection, maintenance tracking, and QuickBooks Online sync; choose an alternative if automated owner payouts or a native mobile experience is central to the workflow.
