teemIP review
A focused open-source CMDB for teams linking IP address management to infrastructure records.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
teemIP is an open-source IP address management, DDI and CMDB platform for infrastructure and network teams. It organizes IPv4 and IPv6 plans, subnets, addresses, VLANs, sites, organizations, DNS and DHCP documentation, while connecting configuration items such as devices, services, applications and locations. The product supports web, Windows, Linux, API and self-hosted deployments, with use cases spanning SMEs, mid-market organizations, public bodies, service providers and enterprise infrastructure teams.
Pricing is split between a free Community edition and paid support tiers. Community provides 100% open-source code, free download and installation, GitHub and wiki access, a community forum, and security vulnerability handling. Standard adds priority bug fixes, professional support and video training. The published plans show Standard at €500 per month with annual billing, equivalent to a €6,000 annual commitment; a separate Standard listing presents €6,000 per year with annual billing. Premium adds installation support, integrations with existing tools and information systems, personalized training, dedicated support and SLA, priority maintenance and updates, plus advisory and strategic support.
The standout strength is the connection between hierarchical IP plans and configuration records. Audit history, ownership and status tracking, delegated access by scope, CSV/Excel import and export, and a REST API support controlled operational workflows. Integrations include iTop, GLPI, Jira, Centreon, Zabbix, Nagios, Lansweeper, Active Directory, LDAP, VMware, Proxmox, Grafana and Power BI. Choose teemIP when network data, IPAM and auditable CI relationships are central requirements, especially where self-hosted control or open-source access matters. Teams seeking a broader CMDB focus beyond network infrastructure may find its narrower positioning less suitable.
