Our verdict on TeachShare
TeachShare is an education platform for K–12 teachers and school systems that combines AI lesson planning with classroom resource creation. It can generate lesson plans, activities, quizzes, rubrics, answer keys, and other materials from topics, objectives, standards, or uploaded PDFs. Teachers can edit and refine results, create differentiated versions, adjust reading levels, translate materials into 10+ languages, and distribute resources through TeachShare or Google Classroom. Its scope suits educators who want planning, differentiation, assessment, and distribution in one web-based or Chrome extension workflow.
The plan structure covers individual teachers through district deployments. The Free plan includes 5 resources per week, pages, slides, or PDF-based creation, Google Classroom assignment and export, and differentiated versions to try. Individual Premium / Teacher costs $15 per teacher per month when billed annually and adds 200 resources and lesson plans per month, unlimited differentiation, standards alignment, and watermark-free exports. School Premium adds unlimited creations for all teachers, LMS and SSO integrations, an admin dashboard, and virtual professional development. District Premium adds unlimited creations, district-wide analytics, in-person professional development, and dedicated implementation support.
TeachShare’s strongest fit is for schools already working with Google Classroom or using Google SSO, Clever, ClassLink, or SIS rostering. Its AI feature set extends beyond lesson generation into grading and student feedback, while standards alignment and assessment workflows support more structured instructional planning. Teachers who need translation and reading-level adjustment have clear reasons to consider it, especially when collaboration matters. Individual educators with light content needs may find the Free plan sufficient, while schools and districts should consider the higher tiers when they need centralized administration, analytics, integrations, or implementation support.
