Taxfix is a German digital tax platform for employees, students, retirees, landlords, and certain self-employed or small-business users. Its question-and-answer workflow is available through the web, iOS, and Android, helping users prepare individual or joint returns, estimate refunds, scan and store documents, and submit electronically through ELSTER. Supported cases depend on tax-year and taxpayer circumstances, so it is aimed at users who want guided preparation rather than unrestricted coverage of every tax situation.
Pricing is structured around self-prepared returns and adviser assistance. Basic individual filing costs EUR 39.99 per year or EUR 49.99 as a one-time purchase. Basic joint filing costs EUR 59.99 per year or EUR 69.99 one time. The Basic plans are free until submission, but Taxfix does not offer a free plan for submitted returns. The Expert service is priced per filing, with an independent tax adviser preparing the return, a personal document checklist, and direct contact with the assigned expert. Expert pricing is 20% of the refund with a EUR 99.99 minimum.
