Tapnet Driver App is a mobile tool for drivers working with the Tapnet logistics platform, aimed at South African transport, 3PL and distribution operators. Drivers can see assigned deliveries with recipient, address, instructions and package details, then move each job through dispatched, in transit, out for delivery and delivered. It suits fleets that need field staff to record delivery outcomes and provide operations teams with route progress; businesses seeking a standalone dispatch system should look elsewhere.
Its central strength is proof of delivery in variable connectivity. Drivers can capture a recipient signature and photo, view deliveries and record POD offline, then synchronize data when connectivity returns. The app also shares GPS location during shifts for live map visibility, displays ordered route stops and syncs completed stops to the dashboard. Shift check-in and check-out, vehicle inspections, exception reporting and SOS extend it beyond a narrow delivery-status tool.
