TakeTask is a task-management and field-operations platform for retailers and other organizations with distributed frontline teams. It supports recurring and ad hoc assignments across users, groups, and locations, alongside digital checklists, retail audits, dashboards, reporting, and project templates. Store opening and closing, cleanliness, merchandising, planogram execution, internal audits, and stock-related operations are among the workflows it supports. Teams can work through web, iOS, and Android applications, with evidence captured through photos, video, timestamps, GPS, signatures, forms, and OCR.
Pricing is organized into three tiers. Basic costs €16 per user per month when billed monthly and includes an administrator panel with reports and admin support, push and email notifications, task templates and cloning, and a basic mobile execution app. Advanced includes Basic features and adds signature drawing, subprocesses, SMS and voice messages, and task rejection and return. Premium costs €32 per user per month monthly and adds task summaries, Microsoft Teams integration, multiple accounts on one device, and subclients such as departments. There is no free plan. For teams comparing tiers, the main decision is whether advanced workflow controls or Premium’s collaboration and account features justify moving beyond Basic.
The strongest fit is a retailer that needs operational consistency across locations, proof of completion, approval workflows, and audit history without adopting a broad enterprise platform. Offline execution, real-time dashboards, Excel or PDF exports, and integrations including Google Maps, Google Calendar, ABBYY OCR, Scandit, IoT, email, and SMS extend the workflow beyond simple checklists. However, teams seeking wider platform coverage may prefer an alternative with a broader retail operations ecosystem. TakeTask is better suited to focused task, audit, evidence, and frontline coordination needs than to organizations looking for an expansive all-in-one operations platform.
