Our verdict on tab32

tab32 is cloud-based dental practice management software for solo dentists, independent practices, small groups, and multi-location dental organizations. It brings provider calendars, appointment scheduling, ASAP lists, waitlists, clinical charting, treatment plans, digital imaging, billing, claims, reminders, two-way messaging, intake forms, consent management, and kiosk check-in into one browser-based platform. Alpine is aimed at smaller practices, while Summit Advanced is designed for multi-location organizations with centralized patient data, reporting, claims management, and cross-location scheduling.

Pricing starts with Alpine Start-Up — Year 1 at $125 per month, billed monthly. That plan includes scheduling, an ASAP list, waitlist management, clinical charting, treatment plans, digital imaging, billing and claims, Stripe payments, and a HIPAA-compliant cloud. Alpine Start-Up — Year 2+ costs $225 per month and adds the full Alpine platform, automatic updates, and the broader scheduling, charting, imaging, and billing set. Alpine Established Practice is also $225 per month and adds data migration options, guided migration onboarding, imaging and document migration, and Google or Azure SSO authentication. The published plans show a 14-day trial, while the Alpine FAQ states that a credit card is required.

Integration coverage supports a practice’s clinical, analytics, communications, payments, and identity workflows. Connections include Stripe, Pearl AI, Overjet, DentalXChange, Google BigQuery, Looker Studio, Power BI, AutoRemind, DashCare, Vyne Dental, DrFirst eRx, Google Workspace, and Azure. The platform also offers an API and runs on Google Cloud without requiring an on-premises server. Its strongest fit is a growing practice that wants scheduling tied closely to clinical records, revenue-cycle work, reporting, and AI-assisted processes. A smaller office seeking only a lightweight appointment calendar may find tab32 broader than necessary.
