Our verdict on Synesis Survey
Synesis Survey is a web-based survey and form platform for researchers, students, businesses, NGOs, and organizations, with a particular focus on African users. It combines AI survey generation from plain-language descriptions with recommendations for questions, scales, and logic flows. Surveys can be published responsively for mobile, shared through QR codes, or embedded as widgets. The platform also supports multilingual surveys, real-time analytics, interactive visualizations, fraud detection, and Excel or PDF exports.
Pricing follows a freemium structure. The Free plan costs NGN 0 forever and includes basic question types, email support, mobile responsiveness, and basic analytics, with a 200-response limit. Paid plans start at NGN 2,500 monthly. Starter adds all question types and Excel/PDF exports. Academic adds unlimited surveys, AI-powered analysis, and custom branding, while Pro adds team collaboration and priority support. Enterprise includes the Pro features plus unlimited responses, advanced analytics, white-label options, dedicated support, and an SLA guarantee.
Its strongest fit is for teams that need response-quality controls alongside survey creation: AI fraud detection is designed to identify duplicate, bot, and suspicious responses. Imports from SurveyMonkey, Typeform, Google Forms, and Microsoft Forms can help teams move existing surveys into the platform, while Paystack provides a listed local payment integration. Synesis Survey suits research, feedback, engagement, market research, events, and perception studies. Teams needing only simple forms may find the higher-tier features unnecessary, while organizations that need collaboration must choose Pro or above.
