Syncplify Server! is self-hosted file-transfer software for organizations that need to operate SFTP, FTPS, FTP, FTPES, SCP, and HTTPS services within their own infrastructure. It supports Windows and Linux deployments, with web-based SuperAdmin and Admin interfaces for managing users, groups, permissions, quotas, virtual sites, and access controls. The product suits teams that need controlled transfers across on-premises, private-cloud, or containerized environments, especially when API management and operational separation matter.

Pricing is a one-time purchase rather than a subscription. Basic costs $349 and includes 100 user profiles, 100 concurrent connections, one virtual SFTP site, SSH shell, SCP and SFTP, plus FTP, FTPS, and FTPES. Professional costs $849 and adds unlimited user profiles and concurrent connections, three virtual SFTP sites, SFTP, S3, Azure Blob, and Google Cloud VFS, LDAP users, and high availability. Ultimate costs $1,599 and adds unlimited virtual SFTP sites, WebClient, WebClient sharing, at-rest encryption for VFSs, and LDAP groups. A 15-day evaluation edition is available.

The strongest fit is an organization that needs more than a basic SFTP endpoint. OpenAPI-compliant REST APIs support configuration and management, while SyncJS provides scripting and event handling. Virtual file systems can use disk or cloud-storage backends, and integrations include Azure, Citrix, Dropbox, Glacier, Google Drive, Google Storage, OneDrive, SharePoint, LDAP, and OpenID Connect. Docker deployment, high availability, and cryptographically signed audit logs add operational and governance options. Smaller teams needing only simple transfers may find Basic sufficient, while organizations requiring unlimited sites, WebClient access, or advanced directory and storage capabilities should consider the higher editions.
