SyncMate review
A Mac-focused sync utility with broad device and cloud connections, but macOS-bound.

SyncMate is a macOS application for synchronizing folders and other data between a Mac, connected devices and online accounts. It supports one-way or bidirectional folder sync, background operation, file-name or file-type filters, contact and calendar synchronization, and transfers for photos and videos. Device connections include Android, iOS, other Macs, mounted devices and MTP devices. This makes it suited to Mac users who want one desktop control point for personal devices, removable hardware and selected cloud accounts.
The published editions use one-time pricing. Free Edition includes contact synchronization, calendar synchronization and background synchronization. Personal costs $39.95 one-time and includes a SyncMate Expert license for 2 Macs. Family is $59.95 one-time for 6 Macs, Business is $99.95 one-time for 10 Macs, and Unlimited is $199.95 one-time for unlimited Macs. The Expert edition adds folder synchronization, automatic syncing, photos, music, backups and other capabilities beyond the free feature set. Buyers should match the license tier to the number of Macs they need to cover.
SyncMate connects Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud and Microsoft OneDrive, with integrations also listed for Outlook and Office 365. It can back up contacts, calendars, reminders and Safari bookmarks to a hard drive, and mount an iOS device for browsing in Finder. Support channels are email and documentation. The main constraint is platform scope: the application and its controls are macOS-based, even though it can exchange data with Android and iOS devices and cloud services. Mac households and small teams needing device-oriented synchronization should find the model appropriate; users seeking a cross-platform desktop sync client should look elsewhere.
