SurveyKing is an open-source, self-hosted platform for creating surveys, online exams, assessments, polls, and workflow forms. It is aimed at individuals, developers, small teams, companies, schools, government organizations, hospitals, and research institutions, with web, Windows, Linux, and self-hosted deployment options. The free community edition uses the MIT open-source license and includes survey and exam creation, community support, and online documentation.
Its strongest fit is for teams that need more than a basic form builder. SurveyKing can generate questionnaire drafts from natural-language requirements, while visual and DSL-based conditional logic supports structured branching. The platform also covers real-time statistics, cross-analysis, custom charts, Excel and CSV exports, question banks, fixed or random question selection, and role-based user and data-permission management. API, webhook, SSO/OAuth2, and enterprise-system integration extend its fit for internal platforms and connected workflows. Integrations include WeCom, DingTalk, Feishu, email, SMS, S3-compatible storage, and OpenAI-compatible model services.
