Supernova is a cloud platform for product teams managing design systems and developer documentation. It brings together design tokens, themes, components, assets, documentation, code snippets, and delivery workflows. Teams can import styles, components, assets, frames, and variables from Figma, publish private or public documentation, browse implementation context, and maintain versioned design system content. Its web and API access make it suited to organizations building a documented system that needs to connect design and development work.
The published plans show a useful entry point for smaller teams. Free includes design system management, Figma and Storybook data sources, a documentation editor, a Design System Portal, and MCP support. Pro costs $35 per user per month with monthly billing and adds automatic data source updates, public documentation sites, custom documentation domains, dynamic data filtering, and unlimited skills. An annual billing option is also shown on the pricing page. Enterprise adds unlimited design systems, SAML SSO, approval workflows, codebases behind a VPN, and priority support and onboarding.
