Sunrise HRCM review
A Microsoft-focused HR service platform with broad case, workflow, and analytics coverage.

Sunrise HRCM is an HR case management and service desk platform for HR and shared-services teams. It brings employee queries, cases, requests, documentation, tasks, and feedback into a centralized system with audit trails and configurable workflows. Employees can submit and track requests through a self-service portal, search knowledge articles, or use a Microsoft Teams chatbot. Intake spans phone, email, portal, and API channels, making the product suited to teams managing varied employee-service workflows rather than a single support inbox.
The platform’s strongest fit is the Microsoft ecosystem. It integrates with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Entra, Graph, Power Automate, and Power BI, while also connecting with ChatGPT, Jira, Slack, Pipedrive, and DocuSign. The Teams chatbot combines ChatGPT and SharePoint integration, giving Microsoft-oriented teams a route to conversational support and approved knowledge content. REST and SOAP APIs add options for connecting HR processes with external applications. Teams operating outside Microsoft’s environment can still use the web platform and other integrations, but the product’s most distinctive experience is clearly Microsoft-centered.
Pricing follows a contact-sales model, while the published offering includes a free trial. The feature set covers SLA response and resolution tracking, configurable request forms, service catalogs, automated task and process creation, dashboards, KPIs, reporting, and analytics. Sunrise HRCM also supports web, iOS, and Android access, alongside its browser-based interface. Choose it when auditability, omnichannel intake, workflow control, knowledge, and Microsoft integration matter together. Consider a narrower HR ticketing product if your team needs only basic case tracking without service catalogs, automation, analytics, or ecosystem integrations.
