Sunbird dcTrack review
A broad DCIM platform for teams managing complex data center operations.

Sunbird dcTrack is web-based data center infrastructure management software for data center operators and infrastructure teams. It brings physical asset and configuration management together with rack, cabinet, floor-map, and 3D visualization. Teams can manage space, power, cooling, ports, capacity reservations, circuit tracing, change requests, approvals, work orders, dashboards, reports, and exports in one operational environment. The product is positioned for mature teams that need broad DCIM coverage across sites and infrastructure domains.
Pricing is available through the dcTrack DCIM Operations plan at $19.50 per cabinet per month or $234 per cabinet per year. Both versions include unlimited users, unlimited sites, unlimited assets, and two monitoring node licenses per cabinet. Sunbird also offers a Perpetual License with one-time license payment and annual maintenance available. The platform uses a hybrid deployment model and supports web and API access. Its integration list includes ServiceNow, BMC, Ivanti/Cherwell, Jira, VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, Cisco ACI, NetBox, Dell OpenManage Enterprise, HPE OneView, Equinix SmartView, Splunk, Chef, Jenkins, and Microsoft Teams.
The main advantage is breadth: dcTrack combines capacity planning, placement and reservation, power and network circuit tracing, thermal and pressure maps with time-lapse video, configurable widgets, and workflow controls. REST APIs and configurable connectors extend its fit across CMDB, ticketing, cloud, infrastructure management, observability, and collaboration environments. It is a strong match for organizations coordinating complex facilities and IT operations across multiple sites. Teams needing only basic rack documentation or a narrow asset register may find its operational scope broader than necessary.
