StratoLens review
A focused Azure analysis suite with scheduled scans, topology views and governance tools.

StratoLens is a self-hosted visibility and governance platform for teams responsible for Microsoft Azure estates. It combines infrastructure inventory with network visualization, cost analysis, change tracking and access-governance views, making it relevant to small, mid-market and enterprise teams that need to examine how Azure resources are connected and governed. Its focus is specifically Azure rather than a multi-cloud environment, so teams seeking a single view across multiple cloud providers should look elsewhere.
Scheduled scans use Azure Resource Graph and Activity Logs, while interactive topology diagrams refresh automatically and include route tracing. Historical network snapshots and change tracking help teams compare infrastructure over time; the resource explorer and global search support inventory work. Cost Explorer adds cost anomaly detection, orphaned-resource detection and VM sizing recommendations. This breadth is useful when network analysis is only one part of an Azure operations workflow, though organizations focused on visualization across providers will find the Azure-only scope limiting. Azure Advisor and Microsoft Defender integrations extend the views to those findings.
Published monthly pricing starts with Essentials at $179, followed by Starter at $649, Pro at $1,399 and Business at $2,349; Enterprise is also listed. The description says paid tiers include all features and that subscription pricing is based on monitored resource count. Essentials, Starter and Pro list email support, Business lists priority support, and Enterprise lists dedicated support. A 14-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan. Email notifications, scheduled reports, RBAC optimization, role assignment auditing and Azure Policy governance views make the product a fit for teams that want operational and governance analysis together. Choose it for a self-hosted Azure estate; skip it if multi-cloud coverage is essential.
