Our verdict on Strap
Strap is a cloud-based online whiteboard from Goodpatch Inc. for teams that organize information visually during workshops, planning, business analysis, project work, and presentations. Its infinite boards combine text, images, shapes, connectors, sticky notes, flowcharts, templates, and real-time collaborative editing. The product also supports sharing through URLs, Japanese-language use, slide show presentations, PowerPoint export, and AI-assisted diagram creation. It is especially suited to Japanese-language business workshops that need more structure than a simple shared canvas.
Strap uses a paid model with a 14-day trial and no free plan. The 通常プラン covers the core online whiteboard, diagramming, templates, collaboration, and PowerPoint export features. The プロフェッショナルプラン is presented as a contact-sales tier, making it more relevant to organizations evaluating an enterprise-oriented arrangement than to individuals seeking a self-serve free workspace. Buyers should assess the standard plan against their workshop needs and treat the professional tier as a separate sales-led path.
Its strongest distinction is the combination of workshop templates, diagramming, presentation mode, export, and AI-assisted diagram creation in one web-based workspace. That breadth supports a workflow from collecting ideas to structuring them, presenting the result, and moving it into PowerPoint. The trade-off is focus: teams looking for a free entry point, a broader range of access platforms, or a simpler casual whiteboard may prefer another option. Strap is a good fit for Japanese-language business teams that value structured collaboration and presentation output, but less suitable for buyers who require a free plan or a straightforward consumer-oriented tool.
