StoreBay review
A broad UK-focused platform for storefronts, billing, CRM, and multi-site operations.

StoreBay is cloud software for UK self-storage operators managing customer acquisition, unit administration, payments, and site operations. It combines an online storefront with live availability and checkout, online bookings, agreement signing, payment collection, unit maps, transfers, move-outs, waitlists, CRM records, and reporting. Its multi-site tools are suited to operators running a single facility or portfolios of 20 or more sites, with customers able to book, sign agreements, and pay online.
Pricing is presented through one Standard plan with the same feature set on monthly or annual billing. Monthly billing is £63 per month, while annual billing is £52 per month. Both versions include all features, unlimited sites, the first 50 units, and the public API and webhooks. The operational scope covers automated invoicing, Direct Debit collection, payment retries, reminders, late fees, live occupancy and revenue reporting, arrears tracking, CSV exports, and native e-signatures with tamper-evident history. This makes the plan structure straightforward for operators that want the full system rather than feature-based tier selection.
The platform fit is broad: Stripe and GoCardless support payments, Resend and Bird support communications, Xero and QuickBooks cover accounting, and Fathom Analytics supports measurement. CRM contacts, deals, tasks, and notes add a customer-management layer, while the REST API and signed webhooks provide an integration route. Listed gate-system connections and identity verification integrations are coming soon, as are access-control connections. StoreBay suits UK operators prioritising digital sales, billing automation, CRM, and multi-site visibility; operators requiring generally available access-control integration should consider a different fit.
