StarDesk is a remote desktop app: you install it on your Windows PC and connect back to that computer from another device (its FAQ says controlling a Mac is in development; a Mac works as the client). Its download page lists apps for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS. StarDesk pitches three uses: playing PC games on a phone or tablet, reaching a work PC from anywhere, and carrying on AI sessions such as a terminal running a coding agent. It says it connects peer-to-peer first, streams up to 4K at 144 FPS with true 4:4:4 colour, and needs no VPN or network setup. StarDesk says it is in Free Early Access (public beta): free to use for now, stable for daily use, with features still rolling out; no paid plans are announced.
