Our verdict on SRBMiner-MULTI

SRBMiner-MULTI is desktop cryptocurrency-mining software for solo miners and small operators working across CPU and GPU hardware. It supports CPU mining alongside AMD, NVIDIA and Intel GPUs, making it suitable for setups that mix hardware vendors. Mining modes include simultaneous operation across up to four algorithms or coins, with pool connections and failover for continued operation. Its focus is direct miner control rather than a broad management suite, so it fits power users who want algorithm and hardware flexibility from one application.

The software is free, with no paid tiers described. Published capabilities center on breadth: the supported algorithm list spans options such as Argon2d, Autolykos2, Etchash, Ethash, KawPow, RandomX, SHA-256d and Yescrypt variants. Users can configure multiple mining pools with failover, while a guided setup mode lowers the initial configuration burden. Embedded development fees are part of the releases, so the no-cost model does not mean every mined share is fee-free. There is no separate plan structure to compare; the same miner interface provides the listed functions.

Operational controls are a notable strength. A GPU hashrate watchdog can trigger automatic restarts, temperature monitoring can shut hardware down, rejected shares can initiate restarts, and the miner can run in the background without a console window. A statistics API and browser-based web GUI provide monitoring visibility. Deployment is limited to 64-bit Windows and Linux, with community support as the documented channel. Choose SRBMiner-MULTI if you need varied algorithms, mixed CPU/GPU support and failover in a desktop miner. Consider another option if you require broader platform coverage or verified management beyond the miner interface.
