Our verdict on Splixa
Splixa combines shared bill splitting with personal income and expense budgeting in one Android mobile app. It is aimed at roommates, couples, friends and travel groups that need to record group costs while keeping private spending separate. Expenses can be divided equally, by percentage or by exact amount, then consolidated through a Net Summary that shows how debts can be settled. Multi-currency groups use exchange rates locked when an entry is made.
The Free plan includes unlimited group expenses, up to two active groups, 50 personal transactions per calendar month, no advertising, Net Summary settlement and multi-currency groups. Pro plans—monthly, yearly and lifetime—remove the group and personal-transaction limits and add receipt scanning with OCR, recurring expenses, custom categories, and PDF and CSV exports. Pro prices are set per country and displayed in local currency inside the app, so the plan structure is clear even though the payment choice depends on the selected term.
For day-to-day entry, Splixa supports manual records and receipt scanning, with OCR results requiring confirmation. Budget categories and recurring expenses suit ongoing household or travel tracking, while PDF and CSV exports help move records elsewhere. The product is mobile-focused, with Android as the currently available platform and iOS under active development. Email is the listed support channel.
