SPECapc for Solidworks 2025 is desktop benchmark software for evaluating workstation performance with Dassault Systèmes Solidworks 2025. It is aimed at workstation vendors and Solidworks users who need graphics and CPU workload results, rather than a general-purpose PC benchmark. Its 60 tests cover shaded display modes, hidden line removal, drawing, rebuild, simulation, file conversion, Boolean operations, and Visualize CPU ray tracing. The included models range from 392 MB to 2.3 GB in memory, giving the test suite a defined Solidworks workload focus.

The workload coverage is the main reason to choose it: 48 graphics-oriented tests are paired with 12 CPU tests, and display tests cover RealView, Ambient Occlusion, shadows, shaded modes, hidden line removal, and drawing mode. Users can select default anti-aliasing or FSAA execution. Results are stored locally with screenshots and result-management controls; a packaged submission workflow supports SPEC review and publication. Command-line launch can select the Solidworks installation directory, which suits repeatable benchmark runs and workflow automation. This depth is specific to Solidworks rather than broad system comparison across unrelated applications.

The pricing model distinguishes ordinary users from sellers of computers and related products. The User community plan is free for everyone except those sellers; the sellers' benchmark license costs $2,500 one-time. That fee is therefore relevant to related-product sellers, while other users can access the benchmark without a license charge. Either way, it requires separately licensed Solidworks 2025 and Solidworks Visualize on 64-bit Windows 10/11. Choose it when Solidworks-specific graphics and CPU evaluation is the goal; look elsewhere if you need cross-platform testing or a benchmark that does not depend on those applications.
