Our verdict on SpatialChat

SpatialChat is a browser-based virtual event platform for conferences, webinars, networking events, exhibitions, education providers, and distributed teams. Its central model uses proximity-based spatial audio, allowing attendees to move between conversations and rooms. Organizers can combine stage rooms for keynotes and panels with breakout rooms, exhibitor booths, expo-floor layouts, polls, Q&A, shared activities, recordings, and matchmaking. It fits teams that want more interaction than a single video meeting can provide.

According to the vendor's pricing page, the Free plan supports up to 12 participants, up to 2 hours of meetings daily, up to 4 customized rooms, and up to 3 simultaneous screen or file shares, with browser access. Business starts at $399 per month on monthly billing and shows a 50-user configuration. It adds unlimited events, multiple stage and breakout rooms, multiple screen sharing, unlimited file pinning, up to 3 session recordings, and premium email technical support. Enterprise adds multiple event spaces, advanced branding, unlimited event-session recordings, technical onboarding, live technical support, and custom event configurations. Larger configurations are handled through sales.

Its ecosystem includes web, iOS, Android, and API access, plus integrations with Miro, Google Workspace tools, YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch, Figma, Trello, Kahoot, HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Calendar, Calendly, and Mailchimp. Access roles, permissions, and password protection support controlled event entry. SpatialChat is a good fit for organizers prioritizing networking, exhibitor interaction, and spatial layouts. Teams mainly running presentation-led webinars or standard one-to-many broadcasts may prefer a narrower virtual event tool with less emphasis on movement between spaces.
