A focused calibration suite for stereo, multichannel, headphone, and speaker monitoring.

SoundID Reference is calibration software for headphones and speakers, delivered as both a standalone system-wide application and a DAW plugin. It is aimed at audio engineers, producers, musicians, DJs, composers, sound designers, game developers, and audiophiles who need a more controlled monitoring reference. The product supports stereo and multichannel setups up to 9.1.6, with headphone profiles, speaker measurement, calibration profiles, target modes, and saved presets for calibration and DSP settings.
Pricing is divided into three one-time plans. SoundID Reference for Headphones costs $99 and includes headphone calibration profiles. SoundID Reference for Speakers & Headphones costs $249 and adds speaker and headphone calibration. SoundID Reference for Multichannel costs $499 and includes multichannel calibration up to 9.1.6. A 21-day free trial is available. The paid tiers make the product easier to assess before purchase, while the plan structure makes the intended workflow clear: headphone-only users can start at the entry tier, whereas speaker and immersive-audio work requires a higher-priced license.
Its strongest fit is a monitoring workflow that needs control beyond basic equalization. Users can create custom target curves with parametric EQ controls, choose Zero Latency, Mixed, or Linear Phase filters, run Translation Check listening-environment simulations, and use Virtual Monitoring spatial simulations. The DAW plugin is available in VST, VST3, AU, and AAX formats, and calibration profiles can be exported to supported hardware, including products from ADAM Audio, Audient, Avid, Dolby, RME, Universal Audio, and others. Choose SoundID Reference for calibration across headphones, speakers, or multichannel environments; choose an alternative if you need broader platform coverage or a free plan.
