Sophos Email is a cloud-managed email security product for business, educational, and government organizations. It is designed for teams using Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace that need protection against phishing, business email compromise, spam, malicious URLs, malware, ransomware delivery, impersonation, and data loss. Its coverage extends beyond inbound filtering: the feature set includes AI-powered detection, authentication enforcement, cloud sandboxing, encryption, content-control policies, post-delivery clawback, and phishing simulation with security awareness training.
The published plans show two tiers. Sophos Email provides core email security and protection features, while Sophos Email Plus adds advanced protection and reporting capabilities. According to the vendor's pricing details, both plans use contact-sales pricing rather than public numerical rates. A 30-day trial is available, but Sophos Email does not have a perpetual free plan.
