SonicMeet provides real-time translated captions for online meetings, aimed at individuals and small teams who need to follow conversations across languages. It captures meeting-tab audio through a Chrome, Edge or Brave extension, or system audio through its Windows and macOS apps. Captions show the source-language and translated versions together, and sessions can be saved as searchable transcripts. The service supports 62 source and target languages and works with Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex and Slack. It does not join meetings as a bot.

The plan structure makes usage the main buying consideration. The Free plan is a one-time allocation with real-time and bilingual captions, two translation modes and 3 AI credits. Starter is $10 per month for 5 hours and 20 AI credits, with priority caption quality, lower latency and email support. Pro costs $20 per month for 15 hours and 60 AI credits; Power is $39 for 40 hours and 200 credits; Ultra is $79 for 90 hours and 500 credits. Pro, Power and Ultra include priority support. Team is $25 per seat per month and adds shared hours and credits, flexible seat management, organization vocabulary and a usage dashboard. Choose a tier by expected meeting hours and AI-credit needs.

Beyond live captions, SonicMeet adds meeting history, notes saved from caption lines, AI summaries, Ask AI answers, shareable recaps and transcript export. These tools give individuals a way to revisit translated discussions without relying only on live captions. Browser and desktop options cover common meeting setups, while desktop capture is limited to Windows and macOS. The product is a better fit for people who primarily need translated captions and searchable follow-up than for buyers seeking spoken interpretation or webinar translation. Solo users can begin with the one-time Free allocation; teams that want shared usage controls can consider Team.
