Our verdict on Sonex Labs
Sonex Labs provides Pāṇini, an API-based text-to-speech service for developers, creators, and enterprises. Its positioning is strongest for multilingual applications, voice agents, and telephony workflows that need more than basic speech generation. The platform supports 250+ languages, automatic language detection, code switching within a sentence, emotion and style controls, adjustable speed, pitch and pause length, and voice cloning from a minimum 10-second audio sample. It is available through web and API access, with synchronous and streaming endpoints.
Pricing is structured for both experimentation and ongoing usage. The Pay as you go plan starts at $0 and includes 10,000 TTS characters, one voice clone, and no card requirement to try. The Monthly plan costs $5 per month and includes a monthly credit toward any product, 200,000 TTS characters, and three voice clones. Enterprise uses custom pricing and adds volume rates, private deployment, and dedicated support. This makes the lower tiers suitable for trying the service or funding a defined monthly workload, while larger deployments have a separate commercial path.
Its integration surface is a major consideration for teams building connected voice experiences. Sonex Labs lists Pipecat, LiveKit, Exotel, Twilio, Vonage, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, HubSpot, Salesforce, n8n, Zapier, Make.com, PostgreSQL, and WhatsApp integrations. Audio output includes WAV, MP3, PCM, and μ-law streaming, while the category specifications also list OGG and Opus export formats. Choose Sonex Labs for multilingual voice APIs, cloning, streaming, and telephony connectivity. Teams seeking a product outside web and API workflows should look elsewhere.
