SolarWinds Loggly is a cloud-based log management and analytics service for software, infrastructure, and DevOps teams. It centralizes logs from applications, systems, containers, cloud services, and network devices, then supports search, field-based filtering, automated and custom parsing, dashboards, charts, alerts, and real-time log event streaming. Its web and API access, agentless collection, HTTP endpoints, and open-standard support make it a fit for teams that want hosted analysis without limiting collection to one type of source.

The plan structure covers a free Lite tier and three paid options. Lite includes centralized log management, automated log summaries, search, and filters. Standard costs $79 per month when billed annually and adds 1 GB/day of volume, 15-day retention, unlimited users, email alerting, charts, and dashboards. Pro costs $159 per month with annual billing and adds plans up to 100 GB/day, 15–30-day retention, webhook alerting, API access, and Amazon S3 archiving. Enterprise costs $279 per month with annual billing and includes custom volume, 15–90-day retention, custom retention periods, GitHub and Jira integrations, and anomaly detection. A 30-day free trial is also available.

Loggly’s ecosystem supports Slack, GitHub, Jira, PagerDuty, Microsoft Teams, Amazon S3, and custom webhooks, giving alerting and workflow options beyond email. The main trade-off is capacity at the entry paid tier: Standard’s 1 GB/day allowance and 15-day retention may constrain teams with higher-volume or longer-retention requirements. Choose Loggly if you want approachable hosted log search, parsing, dashboards, and notifications with a free starting tier. Consider an alternative if you need a non-cloud deployment or substantially more ingestion and retention at the lowest paid level.
