Soketify review
A managed WebSocket service with Pusher-compatible clients and a free entry plan.

Soketify is a managed WebSocket service for adding real-time features such as chat, notifications, live dashboards, presence, and multiplayer state to applications. Its Pusher Channels protocol compatibility lets developers connect Pusher client and server SDKs by changing endpoint configuration. That makes it a fit for teams already working with those tools, including budget-conscious teams that want a managed service rather than software to run themselves.
The published plans use flat monthly pricing and increase connection, message, payload, and app allowances by tier. Free includes 200 concurrent connections, 6M messages per month, a 100 KB maximum event payload, three apps, all channel types, and webhooks. Indie costs $9 per month and raises those limits to 500 connections, 50M messages, 256 KB payloads, and five apps, with email support. Startup is $19 per month; it includes 2K connections, 150M messages, 512 KB payloads, ten apps, and priority email support. Higher tiers are Scale at $59, Scale-1 at $149, and Scale-2 at $299 per month, with increasing allowances and priority or dedicated support.
The feature set includes WebSocket event delivery, public, private, encrypted, presence, and cache channels, a Pusher-compatible REST API, webhooks for channel and member activity, client events, presence tracking, and per-app origin restrictions. Integrations include pusher-js, Laravel Echo, and Pusher server SDKs. Automatic routing through a global edge network is also included. Soketify is cloud-only, so teams requiring self-hosting should look elsewhere. Its verified breadth is more limited than established choices, and presence should be evaluated carefully by teams for whom it is central. It suits teams seeking a lower-cost Pusher-compatible managed service, particularly when its included limits match their workloads.
